One of the perks of being a teacher is that I get two whole weeks off for Christmas break. What should I do? Clean my house, make a quilt, write a book? However, despite the fact that I plan to get a lot done over the Christmas holidays, I also have a plan for at least one truly lazy day. Here are just a few things I'd like to indulge in:
- Sleep in.
- Watch a Disney movie.
- Refuse to get out of my pajamas.
- Watch the clouds.
- Read a book start to finish.
- Snuggle the puppies.
- Read a magazine.
- Play a really addictive computer game.
- See the sunset.
- Take a hot bath.
- Drink coffee.
- Read funny buzz feed posts.
- Don't look at my to do list.
- Wear warm socks.
- Daydream.
- Do yoga.
- Have Chinese food for dinner.
- Enjoy a glass of wine.
- Fool around on pinterest.
- Work a puzzle.
- Make a pillow fort and lounge around in it.
- Browse Amazon, Modcloth and other shopping websites.
- Snuggle with my husband.
- Eat popcorn for lunch.
- Have ice cream for dessert.
- Read other blogs.
- Find crazy stuff on Etsy.
- Make lists of stupid things.
- Give myself a facial.
- Give myself a pedicure.
- Take a nap.
- Plan my dream vacation.
- Lay on the floor and stretch out my back.
- Eat doughnuts for breakfast.
- Make myself a cup of tea.
- Write short and funny blog posts.
- Do something silly to my hair.
What are your favorite things to do on a lazy day?
